Laboratory

Our laboratory is equipped to deal with both tasks of continuous quality controls, as well as to support our R&D team and external customers. All laboratory testing is manged under our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Manual.

In addition to our own laboratory equipment, we have affiliations with various external laboratories for further external tests and result verifications.

We can conduct testing for the following:

Minerals and powders

• light microscopy with polarised light for optical mineralogy
• laser particle size analysis (0,05µm – 2000µm range)
• moisture content analysis (Halogen light balance)
• manual TGAs
• different laboratory furnaces for various thermal tests

Materials and functional fillers

• flammability testing (glow-wire testing)
• injection-moulding with a complete set of ISO test standard moulds for shooting test specimens for polymer analysis
• melt flow index (MFI)
• viscosity
• filler content test / ash content test
• tensile testing (tensile strength & flexural modulus)
• Charpy impact testing
• hardness testing (Shore A & D)
• colorimetry (colour analysis)
